Technology News Protocol Expands with 25 New Positions

Protocol is adding 25 new positions, bringing its total number of workers to around 80 by the end of the year.

The move marks a setback for the company, which, like other media, has been forced to make cuts in reaction to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic. The Protocol’s policy is designed for business, technology, and policy professionals, with approximately one-third of its audience coming from the category.

President Bennett Richardson said another 200,000 people have signed up for at least one of the newsletter’s 8 products.

“Our long-term ambition is definitely to make Protocol a hybrid style with professional installations and subscriptions,” Richardson said. “There are many places where you can succeed in engineers and senior executives through the same publication. Protocol was able to bring in combination an audience that touches those two communities. »

Protocol also plans to launch Protocol Climate, a newsletter focused on the role of generation in addressing climate replacement and emerging climate technologies.

Protocol Policy, a new newsletter on generation politics, is also about to launch, which will expand Protocol’s entertainment and gaming policy.
